Andrew W. Gates, a lifelong resident of Gainesville, Florida, leads AWG Construction LLC with a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for the building industry. A graduate of Buchholz High School and Santa Fe College, Andrew holds a degree in Construction Management Technology. His journey in construction began at the age of 16, working alongside his father, Bob Gates, a project manager for a local builder.
Andrew's professional background includes owning and operating Gates Home Repair, where he honed his skills in home maintenance and repair. In 2020, he obtained his contractor's license and founded AWG Construction LLC. His expertise extends to subcontracting for other local builders and obtaining his plumbing license in 2023.
With comprehensive knowledge of building codes and requirements, Andrew excels in construction management, land clearing, and overseeing projects from start to finish. His vision for AWG Construction LLC is to enhance the local market by delivering high-quality homes and renovations with a focus on honesty and family values.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife, Jessica, and their three children. He is passionate about fishing, boating, and tackling various building projects.
